Yakima Select is our ode to the legacy of Washington lager and our celebration of the people and products across the state from Bellingham Bay to Yakima Valley. This year, we collaborated with Yakima Chief Hops to exclusively feature Talus in this American Pilsner. Talus is a hop variety developed in the PNW with incredible bitterness balance and notable fruit and pine resin character that embodies American-style beers. This beer is meant to showcase the labor of the Yakima hop industry by highlighting a modern American hop while also remaining an extremely drinkable pale lager. It’s crisp, citrusy, crackery, and as Cold as the Cascades.
