Introducing our Maker’s Series. The beers that will be created in this series are going to be created by the folks who make Aslan tick, giving space for creativity and to make something we don’t get all the time on our draft lines.

First up is one of our brewers, Greg, who decided to make a Helles. Here’s what Greg has to say on why he chose to brew a Helles. “From the lodge, to the chairlift, to the parking lot, my time at the mountain has taught me many life lessons-- balance being one. Which is why I chose to brew a Helles, to represent that. Don’t forget to crack a cold one every once in a while. Shoutout to my friend and local legend, Robin Foster, for the inspiration behind the name and the snowboarding.”

This beer is indeed balanced, *tips cap to Greg*. Ariana and Spalt Select hops offer floral, citrus, and grassy notes that blend with doughy, crackery malt flavors. Finishing clean with a smooth malt sweetness and a soft carbonation, this beer is incredibly drinkable.
